Every morning, scores of children from underprivileged families and Pakistani Hindu refugee families happily trot towards the Shiksha centres of Janswabhiman Welfare Society, in various parts of UP and Rajasthan. For these children, who once faced humiliation, taunts, conversion frauds and discrimination, these classrooms have become hallowed spaces of free and quality education, dignity and love.
Classrooms once denied to them are now spaces of equality — children learn as equals, with confidence and Swabhiman restored.
In Islamist Pakistan, Hindu children, attending schools, were made to clean toilets, do manual labor, sit outside classrooms, denied even water and forced to face abuse and humiliation for their faith. Here in the Janswabhiman classrooms, they sit together and learn as equals, their hearts beaming with confidence and Swabhiman (self-respect). The underprivileged children were at risk of being dragged into addiction and crime, with anti-social elements trapping them in every nook and corner of Bharat. These children now recite Sanskrit shlokas and English alphabets with equal enthusiasm, being protected from crime and addiction by the Child Welfare initiative of Janswabhiman Welfare Society.

Their day begins with Gayatri Mantra, meditation and pranayam. They learn discipline through Yoga and Dharmic lessons, develop intellect through English, Hindi, Mathematics and life skills and self-expression through arts and creative activities. They celebrate every festival together and each other's success like a true Sanatana family. What started as a small effort to rescue and protect underprivileged children and Pakistani Hindu refugee children from a life of uncertainty and eventual crime and addiction, now has become a full-fledged and unstoppable movement, ready to guide every child towards a better tomorrow for a truly Viksit and Surakshit Bharat.
