These children, born into families facing abject poverty and rampant exploitation, were under constant threat of being trapped in a world of crime, drug addiction, substance abuse and begging. Adding to these woes were the fraudulent tactics of conversion mafia. With no respite in sight, these children were treading on a dangerous path, eventually leading them towards self-destruction. The Hindu children attending schools in Islamist Pakistan faced an even harsher reality. Being ridiculed and mocked for their faith was an everyday affair. Forced to clean toilets manually, denied even water and access to education and subjected to discrimination, abuse and conversion traps, these children were left grim with despair. Barely managing to escape religious persecution and migrating to Bharat made their future even more uncertain.

Then Janswabhiman Welfare Society entered their lives, like a ray of hope, encouraging their hearts and minds to hope for a bright future through free education under Project Saraswati. Each day the classes begin with Gayatri Mantra, Yoga, Pranayam, meditation and then proceed towards developing intellect through Dharma lessons, languages, Mathematics and life skills, while learning self-expression through art. Each day, the classes are filled with smiles and self-respect, whenever children hear their actual names, instead of jibes and slurs. The loving and encouraging teachers of Janswabhiman's Project Saraswati ensure that each child grows up to be a fearless, self-confident and Dharmic individual, working towards a better tomorrow.
