पशून् पाहि – निःस्वार्थ प्राणि-सेवा का यज्ञ
Protect the Voiceless – A Sacred Yajna of Selfless Service

मा ते जीविषुः पशवः सन्तु जीवतुः।
(यजुर्वेद 1/1)
O Humans, Heed This Sacred Duty:
Protect those who cannot protect themselves.
The harmless, gentle beings—like cows and other animals—are never to be harmed.
In protecting animals, you protect Dharma itself.
(Yajurveda 1/1)
At Jan Swabhiman, we believe that Dharma begins where compassion is practiced — not just for humans, but for all living beings. Our Animal Welfare and Gau Seva initiatives are grounded in the sacred ethos of ahimsa (non-violence), seva (service), and karuna (compassion).
We serve the voiceless — those who cannot ask for help, but feel pain, hunger, fear, and love just like we do.
Gau Seva – Serving the Mother
The cow is more than an animal — she is Gaumata, the gentle nurturer, the symbol of abundance and purity, and the sacred heartbeat of our cultural identity.
Our Gau Seva work includes:
- Rescuing injured, abandoned, or abused cows from roads, gutters, and slaughter-bound transport
- Medical treatment and recovery care through on-site clinics and mobile first-aid vans
- Daily feeding (Gau Graas) and long-term shelter in our Gaushalas, including the Noida sanctuary that houses 100+ rescued Gaumatas
- Preserving indigenous cow breeds and promoting Panchgavya-based sustainable living
- Community engagement through Gau Pujan, awareness yatras, and student visits to instill reverence toward Gaumata in the next generation
Gau Raksha is Rashtra Raksha.
Serving the cow is serving the nation, its soil, and its soul.

Beyond Cows: A Broader Animal Welfare Mission
Our love for animals doesn't end with cows. We extend seva to all voiceless beings:
- Feeding and medical support for injured stray dogs and animals in urban and rural areas
- Emergency rescue operations during natural disasters (floods, heatwaves, etc.)
- Supporting community-based shelters for abandoned, elderly, or ailing animals
- Conducting awareness programs on kindness to animals in schools and villages
Every rescued soul is a reminder that kindness is our highest dharma.
